Everyone can be a Phoenix!

Character in Action

Character is an action, not a feeling or an emotion. It is carried out through words and deeds.

Our goal is to act as a “Phoenix”, by providing renewal and reinvigoration through character based consulting services, as well as providing uplifting stories from thought leaders on how they live and inspire others to live lives of Empathy, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Caring and Citizenship.

Historical significance of the Phoenix

The Phoenix is one of the most iconic symbols in human history. Multiple cultures have embraced its symbolism:

  • The ancient Egyptians, going back to the fifth century BC with Herodotus, believed it symbolized consecration and resurrection.
  • To the Greeks it represented rebirth and renewal.
  • In Chinese culture, it was seen as a noble bird that was able to judge the character of human beings and confer blessings on the righteous.
  • Lactantius, an adviser to Roman Emperor Constantine-I, wrote that it represented the resurrection of Christ.•In one Jewish tradition, the phoenix was given eternal life because it resisted the temptation to eat of the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden.

What does it mean to "be a Phoenix”?
